Conference Mission
At the Emerging Markets Battery Conference, we believe that the next era of global wealth won’t be written in oil, but in ions. Batteries are already rewiring and reshaping emerging economies in profound ways. This revolution has largely gone unnoticed and absent from major global battery fora. This must and will now change. Our first-of-its-kind conference, born out of urgent necessity, will rewire the narrative to match the rewiring seismic shift of emerging economies underpinned by battery technology.
By placing battery innovation at the heart of the conversation, we aren’t just discussing power – we are discussing the fundamental catalyst for green industrialization, job creation, smart transportation, energy access, and sustainable prosperity in the 21st century. So why not power strategic discourse about this in the fastest growing regions of the world?
No wonder, this is NOT a conference to make money for its organisers. It is a conference to invest in the future of emerging economies, energised by battery technology. Do you share in the ambitious and arduous vision of building emerging economies battery by battery? Do you also wish to get up to speed with current battery activity in emerging economies? Then this is the conference for you!

Welcome to the 2026 Emerging Markets Battery Conference at Strathmore University, Nairobi, Kenya.
We are meeting at a defining moment, when the choices we make about energy, technology, and collaboration will shape the future of our economies, our communities, and our planet. It is a privilege to welcome innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, industry leaders, and changemakers to a conference focused not only on batteries, but on the transformation they make possible.
Across emerging markets, a new energy future is taking shape — one where innovation is developed locally, value chains are built with purpose, and clean energy becomes more accessible, affordable, and inclusive. Batteries are no longer just components of modern energy systems; they are enablers of industrial growth, energy security, e-mobility, digital transformation, and climate progress.
This conference is more than a gathering of experts. It is a platform for vision and action. Here in Nairobi, ideas will be tested, partnerships will be built, and bold ambitions will be translated into practical solutions. The conversations we begin here can influence policy, unlock investment, accelerate innovation, and position emerging markets at the center of the global energy transition.
Above all, this conference reflects our shared commitment to building an energy ecosystem that advances both people and progress. Thank you for being part of this important moment.
Welcome to Nairobi. Welcome to a shared vision for the future. Welcome to the Emerging Markets Battery Conference.
